Kaminey!!!

Dhan te nan!!!

Paise kamane ke do hi tarike hote hain. Ek fort-cut and doosara is chhota fort-cut:-)

The film opens with Shahid Kapur's narration about him and his life, his ambitions. It gives us some info about his brother too..Do bhai.Ek F ko F bolata hain and doosara haklata hain.
Charlie is a smalltime gangster for a gang which does betting on horses. Guudu is a student who has a marathi girlfriend Sweetie.
Its a story that unfolds in day and half and has its moments thruout the film.
The pluses are Fahid Kapur and his acting. the support act is also good especially Amol Gupte who does his acting debut.
The script is okay for a film like this..In fact better than some superhits in recent times but its not in a class of vishal Bhardwaj. Climax is too filmy and 2nd half is generally very very filmi with dash of dharmendra starrer Anil Sharma films of late 80's.
Dialogues..well patchy..brilliant at times.very  mediocre at times.
the biggest disappointment is music department. apart from Dhan te Nan and the title song..other songs arent too good. Also picturization could have been better.

All in all, a good timepass but for sure I wont be buying a dvd.
